Every Sunday (rain or shine): Julian Certified Farmers' Market -- fresh and local organic produce, nuts, eggs and specialty foods including salsa, tamales, sambusa, kettle corn and fresh baked breads from the Julian Bakery.  Live music some weekends.  Farmers' Market takes place from 11am to 4 pm at 4470 Hwy. 78, at the Wynola Farms Marketplace, 3 miles West of Main St.

September TBA: Annual Julian Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be played at the Warner Springs Resort. Play "Best Ball" rules with an entry of $75 if signed up by September 1.  Entry fees beginning September 2 are $85.  The awards banquet will finish the day of play at nearby Santa Ysabel Casino. Individual Hole Sponsorships still available for $200. September 17-18: Julian Lions Club 40th Annual Bluegrass Festival – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday – Frank Lane Park

September: Santa Ysabel Casino Best Back Country Chili Cook-Off
– Entry Fee $35 with Club Card or $40 with out Club Card – !st - $1200, 2nd - $800, 3rd - $500 – Get in the Chili Cook-Off Spirit and decorate your booth!  Best decorated booth gets $100 Free Play.

September 24-25: Volcan Mountain Folk Music Festival and Menghini Arts and Music Festival – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Menghini Winery –  Tickets $5 in advance $8 at door
